Sweden’s only astronaut, Christer Fuglesang, has captured the hearts of Sweden during two Space Shuttle missions in recent years. Following his first mission and a subsequent visit to The American Club of Sweden, he was voted an Honorary Member at our 2007 Annual Meeting. Now, finally, we get an opportunity to formally recognize Christer for the ambassadeurial role he plays in promoting relations between Sweden and the USA.

Also include the number of children under 12, if any. Note that even last-minute, Sunday morning decisions to attend are welcome, however we wish to give the restaurant a reasonably accurate headcount several days in advance; therefore, advance registration or even “Maybe’s” are strongly encouraged.
Cost (payment to be made upon entrance to Fotografiska, cash or credit card):
Current Club Members, 120 SEK (Members’ + a maximum of one adult Guest)
Guests (unaccompanied by Member or additional Guests with Member), 200 SEK
Students with valid identification, 70 SEK

Getting there:
Public transportation to Slussen is the best alternative. From Slussen, walk 7-8 minutes along Stadsgårdkajen, the waterside docks heading towards the Viking terminal. Fotografiska Museet is in the old Customs House, the first building after you pass Birka Cruiselines terminal.
Parking is limited but available. If an attendant is present to open the gate, you may park in the Birka parking lot nearest Fotografiska. Alternatively, you may park parallel with the waterfront, between Fotografiska and the water (note that there is an extremely small risk for a parking ticket here, however).
