“Anchor’s Aweigh” Sailing Trip, Late Summer 2017
If you ever wanted to find out what a sailing vacation could be like, we have a great opportunity for you. The American Club of Sweden is putting together an event this (late) summer you will not want to miss.
We are offering 3 days/2 nights “jaunts” out into the Stockholm Archipelago aboard very comfortable Bavaria 46/47 foot sailing yachts. The boats are extremely well maintained and come with a skipper. This would be an ideal trial if you have always wanted to go on a sailing vacation, but were unsure about being on a boat for a long time and concerned about the expenses.
Third Thursday, January 19th

The Third Thursday of each month we gather at Hilton Stockholm (Slussen) from 17:30-19:30.

Intercultural Forum: Makes You Wonder – Going Fossil Fuel Free, January 30th
We kick off the New Year thinking lean, mean and green: how is Sweden moving towards becoming a fossil fuel free society, and are the lessons Sweden has learned in its active pursuit of this goal relevant to the US?
We share excerpts from the film “Makes You Wonder” by James and Eva Wine, and follow up with a discussion moderated by environmental historian Eric Paglia (@ericpaglia).
