Karin Henriksson has reported US events for SvD readers for nearly 20 years. Her recently-released book, USA – Så funkar det (this is how it works) catalogs not only her exciting work which has led her to meet countless dignitaries, but also draws a number of comparisons and contrasts between Sweden and the US. Few people are as well equipped to compare our two countries as Karin Henriksson!

As a relatively new holiday with a limited sense of associated tradition, The American Club is pleased to provide an opportunity for Swedes and Americans alike to enjoy the Swedish outdoors, a picnic lunch, kubb tournament and more.
