The American Club of Sweden is excited to announce the first installment of its new Tasting Series!
Sponsored by MURAM International AB, an importer specializing in American wine and founded by members of The American Club, the event will feature more than two dozen wines as well as representatives from several top California wineries.
Come join fellow Club members and their guests at the Grand Hotel for an evening sipping the best that California wine country has to offer without even having to leave Stockholm!

Your admissions fee (SEK 250 for Club members and first guest; SEK 300 for non-members) includes tickets good for six pours at any of our five tasting stations where you will also have the chance to speak face-to-face with the winemakers.
For those of you looking to savour even more of the wines on offer, additional tasting tickets will be available for purchase on-site for SEK 25 apiece.

Swedish Whisky Tasting
Mackmyra Whisky
Mackmyra Whisky will be presenting their unique product in a comfortable and casual setting. The presentation will include the story about the beginnings of Mackmyra, how it is distilled, and what makes their whisky different (besides it's being Swedish). There will be 6 tastes based on the two basic flavors of Mackmyra from the three different woods used in their casks.
Merchandise (hats, T-shirts, glasses, etc.) will be available for sale. Bottles cannot be sold at the tasting, but if you are interested in owning your own barrel of Mackmyra Whiskey, you will be able to purchase your very own custom whisky in a barrel.
This event will be held at the Mackmyra offices at Hantverkargatan 5, Hus 5, 112 21 Stockholm. It is near the Stadhuset. Cars are not advised-the Blue bus #3 stops right outside.
